Internship (marketing and social media)

What you'll do

  • Create and edit content for TikTok and Instagram
  • Plan, shoot, and capture real-life moments

Who we're looking for

  • Fluent in BM and English
  • SPM and above (fresh grads, students, retirees welcome)
  • Social media savvy, with editing experience (CapCut, Filmora, or Adobe)
  • Trend-aware, creative, and detail-oriented
  • Curious, self-driven, and a team player

Technician (machine servicing)

Keep our coffee flowing.

We're looking for hands-on, detail-oriented individuals to service and maintain our coffee machines across locations, with great benefits, flexible workdays, and room to grow.

6-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM), standby on Saturdays based on rotation.

What you'll do

  • Refill ingredients and perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on coffee machines
  • Ensure machine cleanliness and hygiene in line with company standards
  • Conduct taste tests and calibrate settings to maintain drink quality and consistency
  • Maintain active communication while traveling between locations
  • Troubleshoot and report machine issues proactively
  • Inspect machine sites for cleanliness, pest presence, and accessibility
  • Monitor ingredient levels and report low stock promptly
  • Gather on-site feedback and relay insights to management

Who we're looking for

  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Possess a valid motorcycle license and own transport
  • Strong communication skills; reliable, disciplined, and hard working
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented with strong hands-on skills and critical thinking ability
  • Willing to be on standby when needed (with compensation provided)
  • Open to candidates of all experience levels

Part-time business development agent

Help us find new homes for Otter Barista machines.

We're looking for motivated individuals to join us as part-time Business Development (BD) Agents. This role is perfect for students, freelancers, or anyone looking to earn extra income while building real-world sales and networking experience.

What you'll do

  • Find new locations: research and identify potential placement spots for Otter Barista machines (e.g. hospitals, offices, universities, malls)
  • Outreach and contact: reach out to building managers, admin staff, or key decision-makers via LinkedIn, calls, emails, and referrals
  • Build relationships: introduce Otter Barista's value and maintain professional, ongoing communication
  • Assist in closing deals: support the team in preparing proposals, arranging site visits, and helping negotiate placements
  • Coordinate handover: liaise with internal teams to support the setup process once a location is secured
  • Ongoing support: act as a point of contact for the locations you helped bring in

Who we're looking for

  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Excellent communication and confidence in approaching new people
  • Comfortable with cold calls, messaging, and referrals
  • Responsible, driven, and able to work independently
  • Students, fresh grads, or anyone with a go-getter mindset are welcome
  • Sales or BD experience is a bonus, but not required, we'll train you

Part-time quality assurance

Make sure every cup meets our Otter Barista standard.

We're looking for detail-oriented individuals to join us as part-time Quality Assurance (QA) Agents. You'll be our eyes (and taste buds) on the ground, ensuring every Otter Barista drink tastes just right, machine performance is on point, and customer experience stays top-notch.

What you'll do

  • Conduct routine checks: visit assigned machine locations at flexible times
  • Drink testing: sample drinks for consistency in taste, temperature, and quality. Check dilution, sugar balance, foam texture, and appearance
  • Machine inspection: check cleanliness, screen functionality, stock levels, and app responsiveness
  • Quality inspection: assess machine hygiene, screen responsiveness, and ingredient levels
  • Feedback and experience reporting: report issues and share observations on the overall customer experience

Who we're looking for

  • Must be based in or able to travel across designated Klang Valley or other coverage areas
  • Strong attention to detail and good taste memory
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English
  • Has own transport
  • No prior QA experience needed, we'll guide you through everything
